Make your own Bioplastic Bag

With Mindfuel's Tech Future Challenge and Amino Labs

At Amino Labs, we believe in making science accessible and fun for everyone. That's why we've created a kit that allows you to make your own bioplastic bag right at home or school. With just a microwave or kettle to boil water, you can create a sustainable alternative to traditional plastic bags.

This bioplastic kit includes all the materials and instructions you need to get started. It's perfect for beginners and experts alike, and it's a great way to learn about the science behind bioplastics.

Here's how it works:

1. Grab your bioplastic kit and gather all the extra materials needed (300 mL of water and a microwave or kettle).
2. We will be doing the first part of the experiment together during the TFC Intro Session. If you want to prepare, you can download the step-by-step instructions provided here:
    3. Let the bioplastic bag dry.
    4. Voila! You've made your own bioplastic bag.

Not only is making your own bioplastic bag a fun and educational activity, but it also helps reduce your environmental impact. Traditional plastic bags can take hundreds of years to decompose, while bioplastics are biodegradable and break down much faster.
