Escherichia coli B strain, living, E coli

This B strain of E. coli can be used as a replacement for expired blank cells in all Amino Labs biology kits that use "blank cells". If you have your own biology class methods that require B E. coli, these cells will work great for you.

The cells are living in a nutrient agar called a stab. When you get these cells, you can dip an inoculating loop in and streak out the cells on a fresh petri dish with non-selective agar.

For the best results, and the longest shelf life possible, refrigerate upon arrival. You'll find a "Best by" date on the tubes. This date assumes you've refrigerated upon arrival.
